last week i saw the lion king with some friends in san diego.
this is to show you our amazing seats. yes, we were the 2nd to last row from the very top. take my advice and don't buy the cheapest tickets.
overall i think i've decided that i'm not a musical person. i've seen other musicals before, but i don't enjoy sitting in one spot for three hours watching people sing and dance. i feel i may be the only one who feels like this. it could have been because i was just at the hospital the entire day and my feet were aching, or the fact that i could barely see anything because we were in the nosebleeds. it is a good show though so if you haven't seen it i recommend it.

so much fun!
i went when i was a little girl and say behind dolly parton.
I'm with you, I'm not a musical gal, but The Lion King I absolutely LOVED. Before we die, lets plan a safari trip k?
Love and miss you lots
Oh, and maybe Mary could be our tour guide?
i would love a safari (as long as it's tauck) and mary as our tour guide??? what a dream.
I totally understand how you feel. You have to be in the mood for a play. But the LION KING!! I mean that was awesome. The art on those costumes was what I was most amazed by. I am so sad though cause I can't see your pictures on my blog. My computer has issues! so sad. I'm excited I am going to have a baby in three months yay!
So... triple date + Ricchios? You could sit for three hours if it were smooth jazz even if you HAD been at the hospital all day with senile old ladies peeing on your shoes. Really though, it looks like fun, but Tauck would be better -- it's true.
Lion King was not my favorite...
I think you are like other musical people, you should be performing, not viewing. But I always love Phantom of the Opera,West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, or Oklahoma, with my granddaughter in a starring role! Blessings
You should star in the new musical...Teenage Enema Nurse. Its very much like your patients colons...stinky, and full of danger.

I saw the Lion King with a friend, after having catered a wedding party for about 200 people. I am not gonna lie... I actually feel asleep. After fighting sleep for two hours. Not because it wasn't great. But I think I really have to be in the right mood for it. And it has to be the right musical. I've seen Wicked twice, and enjoyed it immensely both times.
